Green City Market - Chicago
Founded in 1999, the Green City Market brings sustainably grown and organic produce directly from farmers to city consumers. Along with fruits and vegetables, you'll find cheeses, honey, meats and baked goods.
In spring and summer, the market takes place each Wednesday and Saturday morning outdoors at the south end of Lincoln Park. Beginning Nov. 1, it moves inside the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, opening every Wednesday and Saturday through Christmas, and on the first and third Saturdays of each month from January to mid-April.
