Wolfy's - Northbrook - Northbrook

Wolfy's has been proudly serving Chicago-style hot dogs to the Far North Side since Mickey Becker founded the hot dog stand in 1967. Pete Romas took over in 1999, and continued the tradition with its famous Polish sausage, 1/3-pound fresh burger patty made with 50/50 brisket to chuck on a challah bun and Merkts cheddar and grilled onions toppings, its house-made Italian beef, and its grilled salami sandwich on french bread. The tradition continues in the Northbrook location, launched in June 2009, by Romas and partner Josh Kaplan.
