Last Call for Meet the Market at RM Champagne Salon
The Green City Market Junior Board concludes this season's Meet the Market series at RM Champagne Salon, featuring a plant-based menu in collaboration with One Part Plant creator Jessica Murnane, along with obvious booze, and the most delicious ingredient of all, Junior Board members. The Junior Board serves to engage young professionals through programs within the Green City Market community while helping raise funds for the market, and the Meet the Market events are an apt, fun outlet for that. This being the final installment of the season means you'll want to get yourselves here. Because what could be better than a little social engagement over food and booze?
This week's event runs from from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22. It will include passed plant-based appetizers featuring Iron Creek Farm and Nichols Farm, seasonally inspired cocktails featuring Journeyman Distillery, and presentations from the enthusiastic Junior Board, highlighting the board's contributions to the Lakeview Food Pantry. Chef and Junior Board member Jared Van Camp will offer bites such as salt and vinegar lacinato kale chips, grilled housemade fava bean tofu, sprouted lentil salad, and cashew and kaffir lime "yogurt" parfait. Appetizers are complimentary, while cocktail proceeds benefit the Green City Market's LINK program.
