Front desk twins were awesome. Housecleaning was awesome. Rest of staff was just incompetent. They advertise meeting room space but it's reserved and not available for regular guests. Apparently you can't even sit down on the 20 empty couches and work, unless you're eating at the empty (but apparently fully reserved) restaurant hidden on the "meeting room floor". We got conflicting information from several different employees, recommending that we come back at X time or that we ask someone else. Seems like no one has any clue what's going on. Would not come back here, or recommend this place to any of my friends.

I think calling this a four star hotel is a bit generous. We enjoyed our stay but encountered a few things that made us scratch our heads: -no hand soap in bathroom (just a “body bar”) -no fan in bathroom -no room service available -when requesting silverware for take out (due to aforementioned lack of room service) we were brought two plastic forks; no plates/napkins/knives -no access to restaurant floor from the guest elevator -limited cable TV options, no music channels or way to add your own streaming services -no duvet on comforter; just layered in sheets The location is great for Mag Mile and L train proximity & early check in was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the provided shampoo/conditioner was of good quality. The provided iron and ironing board were very convenient as was the ‘wet bar’ (aka the sink in the room). The issues listed were minor, really, but not things I’d expect of a four star stay.

Hotel was really clean, nice-smelling, and in a very good location. Close walking distance to a lot of shops & restaurants. Also quiet street, did not hear much noise. Room AC could have been colder; also wasn’t a issue for us but housekeeping is every other day. Friendly staff. Rooftop bar area was nice. Would come again!

This hotel is amazing! It's in a great location. I stayed on the 16th floor which gave a beautiful view of the city. The rooftop bar and food items were good. The severs Madison and Trigger were simply amazing-warm and personable. My only issue with this hotel would be the ridiculously priced parking. Guests should pay 1/2 of the rate charged and visitors pay the full amount. Not to mention how uncomfortably small it is. I utilized the spa but was underwhelmed. The ambiance was nothing like the photo. Overall, I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Chicago.

We stayed 4 days 3 nights for about $800. There is very little staff here at the hotel and no one to help you with luggage. Left over garbage from previous person that stayed was there near the widow (specifically empty water bottle). The bed and pillows were okay, nothing special, just a bed to sleep on, that’s fine. We were told that the cleaning staff would be there the third day to clean. They never came to our room and we were told that if we needed extra towels and such that we would need to come down to the lobby for more our self. We were told by multiple staff members that the parking garage attached next to the hotel was not affiliated with the hotel. “It’s own by the city”, and “a third party services runs it”. Just found it suspicious that their name was all over the parking garage, from the pay slots, signs, and in/out ticket itself to park. Did not validate and ended up costing $150 for our car to sit there. Overall not a great experience from a hotel that presents themself as a upscale hotel. As we visit more, we will not stay at this hotel again unfortunately.

It isn't safe to stay here, especially if you are alone. The hotel it self and staff have an engender. there were multiple instances that happened through my stay which i addressed to front desk when i felt very endangered they at first apologies which didn't make sense all i needed an outcome for my safety while staying there but all they kept doing was saying was sorry. i appreciated but i kept explaining the multiple instances but all they could do was say sorry instead of talking to there staff members not to stalk/consistently being followed by a staff man instantly after getting out of the elevator as well
