Stumbled upon Sepia just walking the street and decided to stop in for dinner. Little did we know that it was a Michelin Star restaurant. What we thought was going to be a light meal turned into a 4-course meal off of the tasting menu for $85 per person. We were down for the experience and for a Michelin Starred restaurant with high quality service $85 is very reasonable.
We were promptly seated and asked to select our 4 courses up front. The menu had 3-5 options per course that you can choose from with a vegetarian option available at each course and for the main course there was a fish, beef, duck, and veggie option for all palettes. The portion sizes are small, it’s a tasting menu so the 4 courses in total leave you feeling satisfied — not overly full but satisfied. My courses were very neat heavy, I would’ve preferred to have at least a vegetable on my steak plate or something to balance the meal out. The dishes themselves were a little too salty for my liking as well.
Overall great experience and a wonderful surprise but I have no desire to go back.
