Just wanted to say that I had an excellent meal from Kaufman’s today. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and packed with meat! The lox and bagel was delicious! I also got a piece of mandel bread which was very good, but I will admit that I prefer my mother’s! Overall, great food and just know that there isn’t seating there.

THE absolute best deli style corn beef on rye on the planet! I drive from Racine WI just to get my sandwich here because it has spoiled me for any other place. For one, it melts in your mouth, the texture and taste is perfection and for two, the sandwich COULD be shared if you so inclined but if I get full on half, I save the other for late night snack 😃Seriously, don't even waste your time anywhere else...if you like corned beef...THIS is your go-to I promise!!

Great place for a hot corned beef sandwich or some brisket. We picked up some corned beef , homemade apple pie, homemade rye bread and some mushroom barley...

I was a little disappointed. I asked for the roast beef sandwich on an onion roll. Which I got. But....I asked for red onions and a little horseradish. I got the onions but no horseradish. Also got tomatoes which I didn't ask for. Also asked for chicken matzo ball soup and chicken noodle soup. She asked fresh or frozen, I asked for hot. Got cold refrigerated soup. Otherwise everything else was terrific as usual

My absolute favorite deli. The interior is pretty small, but I love walking around and looking at their offerings while I wait for my turn in line. Their salmon salad (a spin on tuna salad with their in-house lox) is very good and I always pick up a container. I’ve had several of their sandwiches and they are all excellent. The meat is very high quality and the flavors are complex, so you don’t get bored eating it. This is a good thing, because the portions are huge. You could probably split a sandwich among two people, but it is nice to have some leftovers for the road. I only wind up coming here a handful of times in the year since Skokie is pretty far from where I live. However, this place is a must-see if you are in the area and looking for either a great sandwich or great meat.

I am a Counselor at Loyola University and was looking to cater a Hanukkah party for roughly 25 people. They were SO easy to communicate with and were quick and organized with everything. The potato pancakes were absolutely the best I've ever had (and I'm Jewish!), their presentation was beautiful, and the challah was so good that students were wanting to leave with an entire loaf. I can't recommend them more!
