BEST ST. PADDY'S DAY CORNED BEEF IS AT CHICAGO'S BEST RESTAURANTS

One-third of Americans celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (March, 17) with a special dinner, and dinner on that day is usually centered around corned beef. You can prepare your own corned beef at home, or you can just have someone else do the hard work…and some of the best corned beef in Chicago is at Chicago’s best restaurants; here are ten of them.

D4 Irish Pub & Cafe has a series of menus for St. Patrick’s Day, and they all involve corned beef done up in different ways, so you can pretty much eat corned beef for several days without getting bored.

Declan’s Irish Pub does a mind-blowing Ruben that lays a perfect foundation for a day of sipping Guinness…and, yes, there may be some of that.

Fado Irish Pub is a classic Irish pub, but their innovative shredded corn beef rolls are a particular favorite of ours…and they’re excellent finger food.

Shannon's Irish Pub

Shannon’s Irish Pub does corned beef right, with cabbage, potatoes, traditional Irish music and perhaps a wee drappie.

Jason’s Deli on Canal offers THE Great Ruben, and it really is, piled high with luscious corned beef.

Kasia’s Deli does a sandwich of warm shaved corned beef that you can pick up curbside…and while you’re at it, pick up some pierogi, too.

Bergstein’s New York Deli does up the corned beef NYC style: it’s a big sandwich and it is dee-licious.
