From start to finish everything about this experience was perfect. We had lunch 3 course menu for $25 and it worth every penny. FOOD: Thai themed, tasty, creative, interesting and healthy. SERVICE: very nice, attentive and professional. AMBIANCE: Asian themed modern, beautiful and cozy. VALUE: Great for experience received. Don't miss it if visiting Chicago.

The creme puffs are what I live for! Not only are all of the dishes AMAZING, the wine selection is the best in all of Chicago. I feel great when I am in Embeya. The staff makes me feel like I am the little one to be taken care of. If you have not been here, you have not been to the best restaurant in all of Chicago!

Surprising, refined Thai cuisine. They make perfect seafood. You haven't ever, ever eaten tender octopus like this before. Who knew it paired with eggplant, basil, coconut? This was a truly balanced dish. I had to (HAD TO) take some of my companion's rice so I could sop up of the very last drops of the curry seafood stew. A really great meal, especially for Restaurant Week.

Went there last night. As with other reviewers, the service was superb. Greeted by many friendly faces, one of which showed us to our seats while another took our jackets for us. Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable. The decor of the place is great. Had the 4 course dinner and a drank. The smoke n' barrel was a scotch drink that was really good. The presentation of it all was excellent, and the food was very good. Highlights were the lamb shank and the green tea cream puff.

My boss ended up taking us out for a client meet up and as the local steak place he wanted to take us to was closed early for a holiday weekend we ended up at Embeya. We walked in right as they were opening and there was already a few tables taken up and the place filled up pretty quickly. Clearly people enjoyed coming here for lunch. The waiter was very friendly and, most importantly, kept our drinks constantly refilled. I had an even split between water and one of their house made sodas which was decent though a little sweet. Onto the appetizer I tried their Green Papaya salad which was pretty good and most of the rest of the table tried the smokes scallop and loved it. For the meal I went straight with the ribs. My wife makes a pretty amazing hoisin short rib so I wanted to try it here. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it as it tasted almost the same. While I loved eating it the downside was I could have had that at home and now wish I had tried the pork which also looked amazing. For desert we had a round of the fried banana that everyone enjoyed. All in all a delicious lunch and a relaxing atmosphere. Honestly, the atmosphere is impressive that it managed to be relaxed with how busy they were! I'd absolutely eat here again if I had a hankering for Vietnamese while in the west loop!

Hand's down one of the best if not THEY BEST Vietnamese inspired restaurants I have been to. The level of execution in the plating, flavors, and service are top notch. The ambiance is beautiful. The mussels are out of this world and so were many other dishes! The drink program is also insane, I had some delicious cocktails at the bar and I'm usually conservative with ordering drinks. I can't wait to come again when I am visiting Chicago!
