Brindille - Chicago
Award-winning chef Carrie Nahabedian and her cousin, Michael Nahabedian, of the famed Naha restaurant, have opened their second restaurant just minutes away from their award-winning gem. It's French- and fine-dining focused.

Overpriced? Probably. Did it matter? No. Focus here is on the food - everything was simply splendid. From the amuse-bouche to the home-made Madeline’s the food was phenomenal with service by Evan to match. Group had the halibut, duck, venison, and special shout out for the tatin.
While the food here is tasty, boy is it expensive! A ribeye steak? $94. Aside of mushrooms? $25. It's a tough hit on your pocketbook. But back to the food:...
The restaurant is squished between another restaurant and a blues bar, so it fits in perfectly with the cool Chicago vibes. Walking in keeps those same vibes with a lowly lit, candles on all the tables, and a very modern bar. The wine list was extensive and had everything you could ask for. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. Can't say enough about the food (get the brussel sprouts to begin with). We had the duck breast and the steak for our entree, both cooked to perfection. The whole experience was incredible; atmosphere, service, and food. Will be going back
If I could give less than 1 star rating I would. Made reservations for my wife's birthday and it started out great with ambiance and fantastic drinks, but...
The duck and filet were out of this world. Cannot recommend highly enough
Fancy restaurant that has many menu selections in French. Portions are smaller than expected. Most are delicious. Bathrooms are downstairs. No free refills on pop. Good service. No parking.
Extremely overpriced mediocre food. We came for a dinner date, ordered raw oysters (they don't mention how many per order and I didn't specify how many orders, so when they brought two plates with 4 oysters on each I was surprised: "Oh, how thoughtful!" Well, turns out they charged $24 for each plate, so $48 total for 8 pretty tiny oysters (taste wise was okay, I've had better at RPM Seafood though (for half the price BTW) Then their duck came almost raw - you barely can chew it! Halibut was also okay, I've had probably better tasting Halibut at Yard House. With 1 drink and oysters and 2 mains I paid $240 (almost $30 in tip) Felt like I was robbed over there. $240 for mediocre dinner is a rip off!
Had dinner at Brindille last Saturday evening with a group of friends. The service was exceptional and the food was really delicious. The Roast Chicken...
