Homestead on the Roof - Chicago
This is the fourth restaurant from Greg Mohr and Scott Weiner (The Fifty/50, West Town Bakery, Roots Pizza). The concept merges a farm-to-table approach with global cooking. The menus are seasonal. Former Boka Restaurant Group head bartender Benjamin Schiller has joined the team to make hand-crafted, signature cocktails.
The rooftop features 85 outdoor seats with a full view of the L-shaped, 1,000-square foot organic rooftop farm and two massive vertical hanging gardens. The restaurant is yearround, with an enclosed dining room for 65 that looks out unto the garden.
