William Tell Restaurant - Countryside

1st room had no hot water. After running the shower for 20 minutes, I needed to get cleaned up, so I took a shower anyway. Found the shower was made of glass walls, which the door had rollers and one of them had electrical tape wrapped around it instead of replacing something so simple. The toilet paper holder spun in circles on the wall. It's just a joke on how much the room was to have all of the stuff not properly maintained. So I was giving a 2nd room which was nice of them. But it was not as nice of a room as the 1st. Heat unit would shut down and start every 20 minutes, which I didn't sleep at all. The door to the room did not have the latch in the door jam, so the door could not shut correctly. By this time, I am ready to call it and go somewhere else, but that option was not available to me. So please do not give them you hard earned money. The 1st day I woke up, I waited for an hour for breakfast. These people serve you breakfast, which the waitress did a no call no-show. I had to wait until lunch to eat. It was just a terrible experience, so your money for better establishment.

We came here because of the pool. We got married on Friday and stayed the weekend. The pool was ice cold. Kids couldn’t swim longer than 20 min. The security guards were literally sleeping and snoring in the hall ways. Our carpet had stains all over them. We didn’t have any extra blankets or pillows. Downstairs had no coffee and in our room we only the keurig which is not for everyone. For the amount of money we spent to stay here I was pretty disappointed. Not to mention how dirty the hallways are. The floors are cracked missing pieces. It’s just not taken care of.

The room itself was looking a bit run down and just looked a bit worn. 1 out of 4 elevators were working. The wasn't any soap for washing hands in the room and when asked, was told it was on backorder (go buy something at least! Gross not being able to use soap to wash hands). The biggest issue is that the staff is not trained well. They were all very nice, but after trying to get the correct cards on the correct rooms 3 different times with multiple front desk employees, I assumed the issue was sorted out. This was not the case and ended up with the card on file or incidentals being charged rather than the card on file for payment. Dealing with this billing issue has been massively frustrating. Emails attached to bills that are available (not all are for a multi-room booking) are out of service. Not all bills are available in online portal. If you try to call the hotel itself you get rerouted through a call center only for them to email the hotel and never hear back.

The good - beautiful pool area. Quite large area with a substantial lap pool and lounging pool. Room acceptable with working heater that didn’t smell of burnt hair on startup. Clean bathroom well stocked. The bad - 1 you will only get 6 hours of sleep as door slamming ends late and starts early. Bring ear plugs. 2 needs a renovation. Carpets looking ratchet in many areas. 3 staff inexplicably sitting at tables in walkway to pool with signs of “security checkpoint” but no explanation. Bizarre. 4 Shower only 5 Coffee in room sorry brand. Bring your own K cup 6

Ok, the night desk worker was great. But come morning time.... Things change. It's a Saturday morning, I'm waiting for breakfast, thinking that for $220.00 I will get a complimentary breakfast. Nope. I go to the breakfast area and there's a small sign saying that the horrible breakfast buffet is 15.99 per adult. Unless you are given a breakfast voucher. Which no worker there on this morning had anything to say about them. I'm with my 73 year old mother, it's her birthday today, and we go to get our things and leave but the cleaning lady is literally pouring soapy water onto the floor and using towels to soak it up to clean it. It was so slippery we both almost fell. My ma went to ask the manager what the deal with the breakfast voucher is, why didn't we get one? Especially since the night before we got no paperwork, receipt, nothing. She was standoffish to say the least. We both said we would make a complaint and she responded with, "have fun doing that." So petty. The TV wouldn't work, horrible passive aggressive desk staff. On Saturday August 13, 2022. The horrible women wearing black with the mask, glasses and a tattoo on her upper arm. She deserves to be berated by every customer coming in until she understands customer service. Being in the hospitality business. Leave your miserable attitude at home and pass on good vibes to the people that make sure you're able feed your family. I hope they do something about the service and no amenities.
