Viviani has included favorite American dishes on the mostly Italian-focused menu with an emphasis on hand-crafted pastas, breads and desserts.
The 10,000-square-foot space offers six distinct areas: a main oval shaped bar; an elevated deck with a smaller bar; main dining area; crudo/pizza bar; another small dining deck; and a private dining room with capacity for up to 15 guests.
Highlights of Siena Tavern's dinner menu range from short rib ravioli to whole roasted branzino accompanied by crispy fingerling potatoes, caramelized fennel and cipollini onion.
Its more casual sibling, Bar Siena, is located in the West Loop.
