Pequod's Pizza (Chicago) - Chicago
One of the North Side's most celebrated pizza parlors, Pequod's is known for its caramelized-cheese-crust pan pizzas. It's located in Lincoln Park and known as a popular stopover for DePaul students and Webster Place movie-goers, but it's gotten so much recognition that people will travel from everywhere for a slice.
In addition to pizzas, diners may order salads, sandwiches (Italian beef, meatball) and pastas (spaghetti, mostaccioli, ravioli).
There's a second location in Morton Grove.
