Kathryn Sullivan Alvera (Narcisse, Domaine and Prosecco) and partner Jason Clark are behind this sleek, multi-level River North establishment with a vintage Parisian vibe.
Marchesa features continental cuisine from France, Italy and Spain, as well as focuses on wines, spirits and cocktails from these regions.
There are three floors of food, wine and fun to explore at Marchesa. The main dining salon, on the first level, offers an Art Deco vibe with shagreen bar top, brass chandeliers and an intimate kitchen table showcasing a front-row view of the nightly culinary show.
The "Apartment" is a second-floor private dining room channeling a luxe Parisian apartment. It's complete with a baby grand piano and outdoor courtyard. And "the cave" is a boho chic wine lair offering a private bar, velvet sofas and fireplace.
