Terrible customer service!! We ordered online with estimate of pick up in 20-30 min. We got notified it was ready at about the 30 min mark and it’s now been an hour and we still don’t have our food or even an estimate for when it will be ready. The owner or manager we spoke to was rude and did not even offer an apology or do anything to make this right, just made excuses and lied about them making our food. This place used to be so much better.

Just picked up our food, got home, took one bite and had to throw it away. Food that should have been hot was stone cold and severely over cooked, food that should have been cold (sushi) was hot, and to top it off part of our order was missing. Go here at your own risk.

I’m not a sushi expert but the food here was great, 5 stars for the food. The place itself was clean and well done, 5 stars for the interior design. It was almost empty when we went, maybe 1 or 2 other people but our waiter was incredibly slow. He took at least 5 minutes just to get our drink orders and then we had to flag him down to order our food. Okay, the waiter is a bit slow on a Monday night but at least we’ll get our food quick right? No, we had to wait no less than and hour before our food came. 1 star for service. If you want quality food and have plenty of time to spare, then I’d recommend it. If you don’t have time, don’t come here.

The maki sushi is comparable to sushi places I frequent downtown across Wicker Park and Gold Coast. I’d say it’s the best quality fish in the area. Highly recommend coming in on Wednesdays for buy one, get one half off!

Walked in around 4:45p. Hostess barley even moved from her seat until I mentioned I was here to dine in. Sushi roll was good though and very well done.
