I was eagerly waiting to try this restaurant and it was an absolutely service experience. It is a casual classy restaurant and they take great care in presentation of their staff, menu, ambiance and so forth. On that account, the restaurant is fab! However, when it comes to the flavor of food, it lacks. I was excepting a whole lot of variety in their oysters, considering the restaurant is named for oysters but they only served 4 variety which were great, by the way. My favorite one was the Vancouver, BC, followed up the Washington one because they were more meaty in texture and flavor. I absolutely love oysters so I was happy with their picks but I have had better. The octopus was made well as was the crab cake. The lobster mac and cheese, however, was extremely dry, too bland and a few specs of lobster on top. I would've liked the lobster to be incorporated into the pasta itself, tossed with the sauce and the pasta to be more cheesy and liquidity to avoid it being dry. The tacos were light and fresh, which helped off set the mac and cheese. It's a wonderful place to come with friends or a date but I would honestly just come back for the oysters and appetizers on the menu.
