Some of the best Mexican Food I've had in quite some time. The Margarita was alright, but the food was awesome. I had the Steak Burrito Suizo and it was fantastic. The rice and beans that came with it were amazing too. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing. The decor was everything. Especially the big open windows. I ordered the steak quesadilla and pork tacos. The meat was grilled just right. Some of the best Mexican food in the city. The staff were nice attentive and on point will definitely come back.

Always a delight coming to El Tapatio. We rented out a group space in the back and will definitely do it again. The service was prompt and, frankly, endless. Our server might have secretly been a triplet because I saw her everywhere I looked - refilling drinks, swapping plates with fresh food, etc. I was only a guest at that event, but I'll definitely consider hosting my own even here.

If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant near the area I suggest this place! The service was quick and the servers are very friendly! Such a beautiful and authentic restaurant! The food was delicious and the drinks were great! The carnitas tacos are amazing!! Will be coming back :)

Long time neighborhood restaurant. Great food, drinks and ambience! Same owners have a Churro parlor which they make from scratch. So yummy!!

Do not order on their website. Had the worst experience. We paid more than $100 for food, ordered on their website for delivery and waited over an hour. Card was charged and everything. Called the restaurant directly to see where our food was and the restaurant claimed they never received the order even though we had a confirmation number. They told us online ordering is controlled by a third party and there’s nothing they can do. So we called the ‘third party,” and after I got through all the prerecorded messages, they hung up on me. The first thing you see when you google the the third party company they use for delivery, is about how to get a refund, so clearly this is a common occurrence. Additionally when we called the restaurant again, the guy who answered immediately said to call and get a refund. So the staff also has to deal with this a lot. Eventually we Had to call our credit card company to cancel the payment. To be charged over $100, wait over and hour, and then be hung up on is the worst excuse for customer service.

Love coming here for dinner. They immediately bring you chips and salsa (and keep refilling it all evening :), the margs are great, and the food is fast and delicious. Service is great and overall great vibes. You can come here with a group of friends to celebrate or on a date night and you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for in ether case!

Our go to neighborhood spot. The food is great and the staff is awesome. The portions are huge and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender, he always remembers us!
