Bang Bang Pie Shop - Chicago
The Logan Square bakery specializes in pies with all fresh and all natural ingredients. The pies are made daily and are available whole or by the slice. Bang Bang also cranks out fresh biscuits daily, and there's a biscuit topping bar to accompany: black pepper honey butter, blueberry lavender jam, strawberry butter and chive butter are some of the flavors.
Other menu highlights include the chicken pot pies, which diners can order in original flavor or Buffalo style, a variety of grits and house-made granola. A giant black chalkboard details the daily specials.
Bang Bang's homey, backyard-style patio doubles the crowd during warm months. There is a second location in Ravenswood.
