Wally & Agador's - Chicago
Chef Michael Lachowicz, proprietor of Michael, launched this 16-seat, casual cafe in May 2009, bringing his classic French techniques to gourmet sandwiches.
Named after Lachowicz's dogs, Wally and Agador's serves sandwiches such as "The Judy Garland," grilled mushroom, Robiola cheese and artichoke hearts on ciabatta with tapanade and the "Wham Sammich," slow-cooked leg of lamb, with thyme, garlic and black pepper mayo in a warm Baguette with Laura Chenel goat cheese and eggplant "caviar."
