The Rosebud - Chicago
Established by Alex Dana in 1977, the Rosebud has grown from this single Little Italy restaurant to a restaurant empire popular for generously portioned, home-style Italian food. Rosebud signatures include fresh fish salad, a meal in itself featuring shrimp, octopus, calamari and scungilli in extra-virgin olive oil with fresh garlic, parsley and fresh squeezed lemon juice (pictured), and "Square Noodles," pappardelle pomodoro in tomato-basil sauce (pictured). Other Rosebud favorites include classic chicken Vesuvio (pictured), baked clams, rigatoni alla vodka and sausage and peppers.
This flagship location showcases a gallery of autographed photos from celebrities who've dined there — Robert DeNiro, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Carol Burnett, Robert Redford and Jimmy Buffett, among others.
