The Palm Restaurant

The Palm Restaurant - San Antonio

Italian natives Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the first The Palm restaurant in New York City in 1926, setting the stage for a legacy. The restaurant started off serving classic Italian fare, as the owners wanted to pay homage to their hometown of Parma, Italy, but so many customers began requesting steaks that they tweaked the menu to accommodate them.

They didn't cut corners, of course. The Palm's prime steaks are corn fed, hand selected and aged a minimum of 35 days. And for those not wanting meat, a number of dishes are available, including lobster and fresh fish.

T

he Palm is still family owned, with multiple locations across the country--and globe--including this one in the heart of downtown San Antonio. This outpost also participates in the PrimeTime at The Palm program. Between 5-7pm Sunday through Friday, guests can get half off on cornmeal fried oysters, a classic cheeseburger and oysters on the half shell.
