We got there on a Friday afternoon, we are 1 of 3 tables occupied so as you can read not super busy or busy at all. Many of the waiters and waitresses provided awkward service while we were there (we had like 3 different people for our table). We didn't receive any refills on soft drinks for my brother, we barely had refills on water ( I was so desperate for water that I ate all of my ice in my cup and then received a refill 15 minutes after everything was gone). They all seem to stand in the back, doing whatever. For a boujee Mexican Cafe, I'd expect better service for the price being paid. The food was fairly good but the service was ridiculous for not being busy whatsoever. 😒

I just moved to this area and have been here twice. Each time it has been quick with great food and good service! I will be back!

There is nothing to say about this place other than everything is fantastic. The owner is present and encourages everyone to have a great time. All of the staff is happy and jumps in to help each other. The food and drinks are amazing. Once you stop by, it will be difficult to visit any other restaurant in the area. A must-visit spot in Edgewater.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and always love the food and customer service but this this time it was the WORST EVER!! The waiter was rude and horrible. Two tables arrived after I did and received their drinks and food before me. I checked to see maybe it was what I ordered taking a long time, but they had seafood and shrimp as well. I addressed the waiter and instead of apologizing, he just had an attitude and asked if I need to cancel the order! I spoke with the manager Roberto and he was more accommodating but still didn't offer anything to make me stay. I told him his waiter lack customer service and was extremely rude. The waiter proceeded to tell me he will run next time he sees me! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

This is definitely a highlight of the neighborhood. The food is very good, the margaritas are delicious, and the staff is "super amable". One of the bartenders, Hugo, is very friendly and one of the main reasons I frequent EMC so much. It's nice to get out of the house during the pandemic and have a place "where everyone knows your name". EMC is my little Cheers bar in Edgewater.

The food is good, the prices are good, and the people are so nice
