Went here this past Friday to try it out after reading all of the great reviews. It was a cool restaurant; also, not too smoky since they have gas grills. We ordered kalbi, bulgogi, and a spicy beef soup. The BBQ was tasty, but the soup could have been spicier. I wasn't too impressed with the sides since there wasn't a great variety as other places. Solga just gave us 8 sides, compared to the 12-15 we receive at other restaurants. But the quantity they gave us for each side was larger than the others, so I guess that was alright. I liked the cold cinnamon tea we received at the end of the meal, it was a nice way to end it! Service wasn't that bad, waiters were very nice. I will definitely return some other time.

This was the first Korean restaurant I had ever visited and did not know what to order, since I was young and did not know anything about the culture. They recommended bibimbap, I had bibimbap, and that was that -- a seed of bibimbap cravings was planted in my pallet and has been growing ever since. I haven't been to Solga in many years, but I was a repeat patron for years since it was tasty and the only place I could find that was open after I had gotten out of work.

New Owners.... The food was incredible. The staff was very attentive and explained everything. Great place for large groups. Definitely worth a try.

I have been there a few times and it was good, although pricey. Ownership has changed and the quality has gone downhill. The menu has been altered from traditional Korean to something more Western friendly and the results are not good.
