You've had eggplant before, we're guessing, but Vietnamese eggplant is different, much smaller and sweeter, and Sochi Saigonese Kitchen ups the flavor quotient by roasting them with scallion oil, fish sauce, and peanuts.
We're sure you've also had short ribs before, but how about My Grandma's Short Rib Soup? This flavorful bowl is rendered even more delicious with braised short ribs, potatoes, carrots, tomato beef broth, macaroni, scallions, cilantro and spring onions.
If you're just in the mood for a simple sandwich, we recommend The King Fish: mackerel, basa, sweet and sour daikon carrot, cilantro and scallions, scallion oil, crispy shallots and sweet and sour fish sauce.
There are also some spectacular salads, and you will be very happy with the Seared Duck Salad with banana blossoms, daikon, carrots, onion, laksa leaf, mint, crispy shallots, peanuts, ginger fish dressing and shrimp crackers.
