long before it became the trendy thing to do, Bucktown's Silver Cloud put unique spins on classic American fare, including grilled cheese, burgers and mac 'n' cheese. The restaurant's a bit of a hipster haven, but you'll also find a good amount of young families setting claim to seats as well.

Lovely comfort food. The Mac & Cheese is tasty, especially with chorizo. The Sloppy Joe and tots, pot pie and grilled cheese are all great, too, though the tomato soup kind of tastes like it's just Campbell's soup & water. =/ Beer selection is always good and staff has always been super friendly.

Had brunch at the Silver Cloud and dined al fresco. Good menu, solid food and great service. Many people bring their dogs to dine with them outside. Trees provide shade making it a really good choice for outside dining. Prices very reasonable.

Great little local spot for a sandwich or a drink... kitchen open until 11. Bar until 2 am. Easygoing, laidback vibe. Dimly lit just enough to be comfortable. Unpretentious and casual. good music. Listening to daft punk at the moment. Service is very friendly and fun and inviting.

Came on a Sunday night, dim lighting with candles on the table made nice experience for two, and for groups as well. Had the sloppy joes which were a little sweet but were still pretty enjoyable. Frito pie was a tasty fun appetizer. Overall service was fast and great. Good value for money. Next time going to try chicken pot pie . Enjoy
