Rosewood Restaurant

We were recently in Chicago for the George Strait concert. After a referral to the Rosewood, we decided to go there for lunch on Saturday. We got dropped off by our hotel shuttle service to find out they are actually not open on Saturdays for lunch. When Jim and his staff found out we were in town for the weekend from ND and MN, they insisted we stay to eat. We had the entire place to ourselves and the service and food were absolutely AMAZING! I have never been treated so well at a restaurant in my life. We will definitely go back to the Rosewood on our next trip to Chicago and would recommend this dining experience to everyone!! A huge THANK YOU to Jim and his staff! You guys are THE BEST!!!!

Best steaks in town! Great family friendly environment. Dress nice and have a great time!

This one did not live up to the Zagat hype. If a steakhouse cannot get the temperature of your steak right, it's pretty much not near the top. Octopus app was great, sides very standard And OK, I'll bash the dessert too. The cashew crusted banana creme pie, while huge, didn't actually have any well "pie" in it. Bananas piled into a shell, period. Service mechanical and distant. They don't mark up the big dog wines very much though.

Very disappointed. The pork chop dish was tasteless. The dessert was not memorable at all. Extremely expensive for an awful meal. I will never return. Even the atmosphere was average. Sure the decor was nice, but I don't need to sit around a bunch of pretentious diners who have no palate for good food. I will pass.
