Remington's

It was good, but the steak quality didn't seem like a $55 steak. I would have been just as happy at longhorn. (Steak was a little tough and had some of those bits of hard to chew steak you find in low end steak 🤷‍♂️) Fillet was about the same (no hard to chew bits, but not a $50 fillet). I can acknowledge that the higher price is likely because you're in downtown Chicago right across from the bean. Everything tasted good. Liked the charred/grilled asparagus, the lobster deviled eggs were worth a try (but please.... Please increase it for 4 eggs instead of three.... Eggs come in two halves...). Crab cake was good, and we finished with the skillet cookie which I would say was above average for a skillet cookie.

This place started off with an extremely friendly staff, then went uphill from there. I started with a smaller portion of a wedge salad, and that was a perfect appetizer. Then on to the prime rib: juicy and cooked to a T. Add the späzle mac & cheese, and you're talking flavour explosion. You're also talking very full bellies; there was no room for dessert, as yummy as the options sounded. I'm so glad we found this place, and we will definitely return the next time we find ourselves in Chicago.

Don’t know how this place has such great reviews. This is the first place I have ever written a review for. I was sat down right away, as I had a reservation. I ordered the Remington steak, medium rare. My steak came out rare. I also asked how long the steak is dry-aged for, and my waiter said 2 weeks. A 30-45 day dry age is best. For dessert, I chose the cookie skillet. It did not come with a spoon, so I had to use my coffee spoon. It was good, but wish it was a tad warmer.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. Place was pretty dead as expected during that time. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and the Oysters Rockefeller. Some of the best Rockefeller I've ever had. The bartenders were so friendly and attentive. Was going to order the French dip but after the Rockefeller and a beer, I was donezo. I'll be back next time I'm in town for that French dip! We had an amazing time at the Remington and would definitely recommend spending an evening there. They offer a wide range of mixed drinks and local beers, all that we tried were fantastic. We can't speak highly enough of the meals we had, they were delicious! Everyone we met there was very friendly and helpful. Thanks Remington staff, we will be back!

Beautiful restaurant and the service leaves nothing more to be desired. Got the brick chicken and the swordfish and both we absolutely amazing! The meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious as well. Definitely pricey but a good place to treat yourself or others!
