Owned and operated by the Village of Schaumburg since 1986, the Prairie Center hosts music, dance and drama from local entertainers as well as international touring acts in its intimate, 442-seat theater. There's also a free, outdoor summer concert series, and the Herb Aigner Gallery showcasing visual arts.

We attended Beauty and the Beast and I was happy to see the venue was clean and parking was easy. I was disappointed by the layout- we sat on the floor right hand side and the production wasn’t in view about 20% of the time. It was assigned seating. It was nice that they had a coat room.

Decent parking lot size, easy to find. Comfortable seating, great sound. The art from local artists is also great.
