Called beforehand to ask about patio seating with my dog. Guy on phone said that’s fine and it’s open. Gets to restaurant for them to tell me it’s against state laws for dog to be out in patio seating with us. Which is a total lie. All of us Chicagoans know that and we went down the street to Rockwell Neighborhood Grill allowed us on the patio with no question. The owner/manager didn’t allow it so I’m guessing they’re not an animal lover so that already tells me all I need to know about their character.
