Oriole - Chicago
With the Michelin-starred Senza, chef/owner Noah Sandoval proved that gluten-free could go gourmet. But with his current venture into Chicago's red-hot dining scene, he demonstrates that his cuisine appeals to all palates.
Oriole is based in the West Loop and Sandoval's tasting menu-only format affords him the opportunity to really dig deep and get creative. The restaurant is extremely intimate with 28 seats, and every diner has a chance to peek into the goings-on of the open kitchen.
The tasting menu is $175 per person, and two pairing options are offered to accompany each meal. Curated by sommelier Aaron McManus, one features mixed beverages of wine, beer and sake while the second pairs exclusively wine offered at $75 and $125 respectively.
