Our experience was totally worth it. Not all Michelin star restaurants necessarily live up to the cost of their menu. Loved the different stops. Our fav was the in-kitchen experience. Food was absolutely amazing and portion size was well planned. The pairings were perfect. Would highly recommend it.

Simply amazing. From the time you walk in the door and go through the old freight elevator Oriole is an other worldly experience. The open kitchen gives me the notion that the chefs have found a way to harmoniously run a kitchen without being tyrannical. The staff will captivate you. Their performances and knowledge are impeccable. The food is absolutely mind blowing. I give this place a solid 5 stars.

Experience delivered! A surprising juxtaposition from entrance to the restaurant's beginning through its end. The food was great, the hospitality was flawless. The experience begins upon arrival. You’re transported into a different place - which is as elegant and understated as it is unexpected. That basic tasting wine paring menu is extraordinary and I can’t wait to taste their special wine paring menu. The food is outstanding and the service staff is well trained and obviously loves what they do. Outstanding and very worthwhile!

Came here for our engagement anniversary. The last time we were here was before the remodel, and we didn’t even recognize the space anymore, but it’s still fantastic. There’s now a bar, and the kitchen is open and beautiful. Food and service was impeccable. Also tried the non-alcoholic drink pairings (since we came on a Tuesday), and they were fun and tasty. Love the special occasions when we have an excuse to come here; and looking forward to coming back.

When you are here you will feel like you're in a wedding reception or in a party and gatherings because of their tables with white cloth. They have a unique chandelier that gives some light. If you want to eat here you need to book a reservation because their tables get easily filled. They were good, yummy and delicious but you will not get your stomach full easily if you ordered a little because they will serve you a small portion of food. But if they serve the food that you ordered it comes in a unique and excellent plating. It's perfect for some instagramable shots. This place is perfect for some romantic dates. You can also have some pictures just ask some waiter or staff if you need help to shoot a photo. I just only gave a 4 stars rating to this restaurant because of the small portion of food.

Obviously this place is amazing but I give it 4 stars for its price point for three minor reasons: -some of the courses are too salty, as someone who loves salt -the courses don’t have the spectacle and creativity some restaurants have at this price point -the wait staff is very attentive but the layout of the restaurant does not allow them to hide as they do in other restaurants. As a result they very obviously are staring at you and it makes me feel like my conversations have an audience Standard pairing was great. Variety of sake, rose, red, whites where at other places you might just get a bunch of snooty aged reds

The staff here was so wonderful. This was our first time at a tasting menu style restaurant and they talked to us about everything we were eating and drinking. They were all so knowledgeable, not pushy. We ended up taking a lot longer than expected and just enjoyed every last second of it. Split the wine pairing, that was smart. With a cocktail each at the start, we still had plenty to drink. Just enough to eat, and everything was good, not too weird, but a lot of new flavors. I would absolutely recommend for your first or fifteenth time at a 2 star restaurant.

Wonderful experience and innovative dinner. I wasn't able to capture the amazing detail description of each dish but we had a wonderful dinner and wine pairing. Go for the experience and amazing service. And staff super friendly. I highly recommended this restaurant. Must try.

One of the best restaurants in the country, by far the best restaurant in Chicago imo (this was my third trip). I’ve been to Alinea four times, but the food at Oriole just taste better. All my favorite foods and delicious every time. Chef Noah is always around making sure things run smoothly. A fantastic team and friendly wait staff. I can’t wait to go back.
