Great Mexican spot in the Oak Park / Forest Park area. Chef Paco is incredibly friendly, and a wonderful host. He literally does it all and educates you on the menu based on your dietary restrictions. A good amount of vegetarian options. Must try the drinks, and the margarita in particular. Will be back for more in the future.
Although every dish that Chef Paco prepares is of the highest quality and absolutely delicious, if you are not a regular customer you should go for the Fiesta Mole. It is a big fiesta ….six enchiladas with six different and yummy mole sauces. We dined there for a wedding rehearsal last fall and ordered nearly everything on the menu. The food is superior but just as enjoyable is the entertaining, fun and genuinely caring personality of Chef Paco. Our experience was memorable. Oh….and the wait staff service is at the highest level as well!
Delicious food. I had the enchiladas with Pancho Villa sauce had a good kick. My wife had fiesta mole each sauce had its own unique flavor not spicy but very good. This is definitely worth a visit if you haven't been yet.
This restaurant should be in the bib gourmand list. I think it's just because it's not technically in Chicago. But the quality of food, the taste, the presentation, and the attention you get is really up there. The Jamaica margarita is top 3 cocktails I've ever tasted. The chocolate mole is exquisite. Overall all the food is great. I would just say the desserts are not really their forte, but the presentation is really good.
Chef Paco has the best Mexican restaurant in all of Chicago. I am so glad he came here from Mexico city to bring us his amazing mole. I love all the different moles he makes, and everything I have tried has been perfection. Thank you Chef Paco!
