Nada is a wonderful cafe for tea, coffee, and a quick lunch. It's usually very quiet and perfect for studying and reading. I love everything food wise that she serves, especially the sandwiches. By far my favorite chill spot.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Outside is the relentless traffic on Ashland, inside is a calm and very well designed environment. The owner is polite and welcoming. I stayed all day and worked, had a latte in the morning, then a rice bowl for lunch, and later some tea. Everything was well prepared, and I was thanked for staying before I left. Wonderful, and terrific value as well.

This place is a gem for freelancers. Speedy internet, plenty of plugs, and almost no one here. The proprietor is incredibly polite and does a mean tea service. The scones don't look special, but do yourself a favor and grab one of the homemade goodies. The only downside is the sunlight can be a bit much in the afternoon. Sit near the wall!
