Mastro's Steakhouse

Every time I go to this location the food is excellent. We went to celebrate my birthday last night and got the Shrimp cocktail, Jumbo lump crab cakes, and the Oysters Rockefeller for appetizers. For the main course my husband got the 32oz Wagyu Tomahawk and I the 8oz Japanese Wagyu with the garlic mash potatoes. The Wagyu just melts in your mouth. Everything was so delicious and the service was top tier. I really enjoyed myself and will be back.

Highly recommended as a must stop when in Palm Desert! The atmosphere is that of a typical steakhouse, but with lively music. The food and drinks did not disappoint, everything was fresh and the dinner was timed perfectly. We will definitely be back.

This was by far the best steak I have ever had. Such a fine experience with live music and a waiter with personality. I cannot wait to go back!

When my husband and I go to Palm Desert we always eat at Mastros. They are the best! Food and customer service is Excellent! We’ve been going there for years and my 20 year old granddaughter also goes there when she goes out. She loves the butter cake and their fillet’s

If I could leave negative stars I would. Visited on 5/10 for a intimate birthday dinner and was ruined by being seated in what should be considered a banquet room surrounded by tables with several large parties. Seated directly under an air vent blowing extremely high & extremely cold air. Waitress was lack luster& non attentive. Did not feel welcomed or made comfortable. Birthday was noted on the reservation but no mention or acknowledgement...viewing other's reviews it looks as if the resturant does offer a special dessert for special occasions seems odd that didn't apply to us. In town on vacation so they'll never have another chance to make another impression. Big disappointment especially since our experience at the Malibu location is what made us want to dine here for my husband's 50th. I do not recommend.

Amazing food and Bill was the best waiter we have ever had. If you haven’t had the butter cake order two and take one home it is amazing!

We have always had great meals. I had the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were huge. Nice spicy cocktail sauce. The maestro salad which I would highly recommend was delicious. I also had the baked potato, broccoli and asparagus. So good. Finished up with the mango sorbet. Great service.

It was a wonderful experience, great staff, great food, and live music with a good selection. The whole ambiance was good and was like a romantic setting. Great place to wine and dine that special person in your life.

Amazing atmosphere with live music. The food is great but the services is a bit weak. The server we had and few Staff don’t follow up orders. We finish our meals without being ask for another wine, dessert and more orders to have. The place is best in town. Overall the spirit and steak restaurant got good ambiance

Very high quality seafood and steaks. Upscale atmosphere and great service. Very pricey. I find it comparable to a Ruth's Chris steakhouse
