It's housed in a turn-of-the-century brownstone with the original woodwork and wood-burning fireplaces. The menu format hasn't changed in years; customers select from an early-seating three-course menu; four- or five-course menu; or 11-course tasting menu. Corkage fees are waived on Thursdays.
