Lavazza (Washington St.)

The last Lavazza in Chicago. Small café with decent amount of seating in The Drake arcade. Prices are fair and service is great. My drip with oat milk was delicious and tasted fresh even for later in the day

It was part of thr hotel. Quiche was freezing. Couldn't ask for a new one since they were slammed. Mocha was basically a hot chocolate. Bagel with cream cheese was a tiny little container. Had low expectations going in, but for the the money I ended up spending, with little chance for recourse, I'm giving two stars. It's probably fine if you need a quick coffee to stop here.

Great tasty breakfast and nice environment!

I love to come here and relax with my thoughts and a good cup of Italian hot drinking chocolate 🍫 with a chocolate 🍫 croissant. The quiche here is absolutely delicious and all the croissants and pastries are baked fresh every morning by the pastry chef at the Drake hotel. The vibes are always positive and Galdina always greets the guests here with a huge smile and excellent service. Such friendly vibes from start to finish 😌

They were out of 2 coffee selections. Then the coffee they did give us was just terribly made. Ordered a poppyseed bagel and got a plain one. Flies were circling the barista station because of all of the open containers. Overall unpleasant time
