Jameson's Charhouse - Mount Prospect

Had a delicious Greek skirt steak and green beans. The meal was accompanied with soup, salad crusty french bread, baked potatoe and sweet creamy butter. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was extremely flavorful and tender. My husband had the ribs which were fall off the bone tender and so sweet and juicy. The service was impeccable. If you have never been to Jameson's give it a try I'm sure you will be delighted.

Food is great. Steak is top notch. Unfortunately service wasn't great. Which would make this place 20 star rating. I got the NY strip and was perfectly cooked and steak was so moist and perfectly seasoned.

I went for lunch with a friend. W both had burgers, they were good. Came with soup, cole slaw and steak fries. The food was served hot, nothing had cooled off. The atmosphere is shadowed, a little dark, but it was nice on a hot day. Our sever was nice, and prompt. The hostess walked through several times helping to make sure nothing was needed, I guess. I would definitely go back. It wasn't that expensive, $22 for the burger and an iced tea.

Our family had a luncheon there for after my father's funeral for about 28 people & the package they offered was from several entrees that were all delicious! Service was prompt & we were very pleased with everything! Besides their excellent food is their famous homemade creamy garlic dressing that is not only for salads but very tasteful for dipping meats! It was a celebration of my father's life & he would of loved the food too! My father is greatly missed! This restaurant will service any occasion! Thank you Jameson's Charhouse for everything!!! My favorite restaurant!

The food was good. It was very crowded There were 9 of us, so service was slow. They brought us bread but no enough for all of. Us had to wait a long time for more bread and drinks. Better to go there on another night. Not Saturday.

Easter Lunch. Shrimp De Jonghe. Jameson's version was flavorful but a little oily. Seemed to be a lot of bread crumbs. I enjoyed my fresh green beans and rice was ok. The martini was great. I'd go back, but I would probably choose something different.

It was incredibly busy, even with a reservation we still had to wait 15 minutes. The place was understaffed with waiters/waitresses. And the layout is overcrowded. I'm a bigger guy so it was uncomfortable to sit right up next to a stranger because the tables are so close together and from the fact of being bumped by the bus boy and his cart every 5 minutes it was not enjoyable. I ordered the the prime sirloin steak as did my wife but what we received were 2 completely different steaks i though they were a bit overpriced for this place at $25 . Mine was perfectly medium rare tender and just absolutely perfect but then my wife's steak was so full of fat and membrane that it was difficult to cut and even worse to chew. We ended up sending it back after I had to go to the front desk to get the manager because the waitress was no were to be found and showed him the steak and he was incredibly helpful he apologized right away and said he would get a new one to us. Well we all ate for the next 20 minutes while my wife sat at the table and watched. We've worked the bar and food industry and we know when there's an order that comes back it's the 1st priority of the kitchen to get that back out. We'll they didn't they took the order as new and my wife didn't eat with us and after 20 minutes I told them to just put the steak in a togo box. I feel like it was over priced especially if you're advertising top sirloin steaks and you are serving these terrible chewy steaks and charging $25. We have a gift card that we did no end up using that will probably go in the trash as we don't plan on going back .
