Francesca's on Chestnut

Delicious food, good location, nice ambiance.. Live music on Tuesday evening was enjoyable. The food was great, but the menu was a little hard to read and the dishes weren't described very clearly. Everything we had was delicious but I didn't expect my dish to have pasta. Reasonable portions for the area/ambiance. Very friendly hostess, limited interaction from the wait staff but I assume they are understaffed like everyone else. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful when he was present.

We were greeted by the manager and seated immediately which was great because we were very hungry…our waitress Tiffany was informative and FUNNY! I couldn’t decide on an appetizer and let her pick it, she did NOT disappoint. Eggplant parmigiana AMAZING!!! Full tummies & great service, we left with a smile and will definitely be back.

Connor (server) was fantastic. Very engaging and attentive to our needs, especially someone in our party with dietary restrictions. The food was great (as always). I especially loved the Sicilian Chicken! The live entertainment was also wonderful. A duet; Lee and DC Jazz Duets. Great covers of Frank, Beatles, Broadway!

We wanted to celebrate by birthday early, but in a low-key way, so we picked Francesca’s on Chestnut. Close to our hotel. The wind was so strong it was hard to go anywhere further away. Anyways the server Connor was exceptional. Made us feel at ease, anticipated our needs, checked in on us. He communicated with us about extra charges which I appreciated! I hate when servers say “yes we can do that but neglect to mention an extra charge.” He made a nice club soda and cranberry juice blend for my son’s drink option. He was really friendly and professional. Servers can make or break your dining experience, regardless of how good the food is. We enjoyed our salmon and halibut dishes. My son ordered a pizza and had a nice crust! Calamari was pretty good too!

One of the best meals I’ve had. The thick pasta with that spicy red sauce was so good. Connor served us impeccably! Just wonderful - would definitely return!
