Coa De Jima - Boise
The vibrant Mexican restaurant -- named in honor of the tool used to harvest agave -- is situated in the heart of Boise's historic district. Coa De Jima is modern, offering a fresh take on the cuisine, plus original cocktails, and unique art on the walls.
Seafood and steaks play a large role on Coa De Jima's menu, which are offered during brunch, lunch, and dinner. There's even a late-night offering.
Choose from Coa De Jima favorites such as the beef medallion eggs Benedict (brunch), a Wellington "burger" that's wrapped in a puff pastry and baked (lunch); and Maine lobster enchiladas (dinner). For those who want to get a true "taste" of what the restaurant has to offer, order La Tablita for two. For $80, guests get a Maine Lobster tail, plus grilled prawns, an eight-ounce Coulotte steak and grilled chicken. It is served with panela cheese, black beans, ancho rice, jalapeños toreados, pico de gallo, guacamole, Mexican crema, salsa and tortillas.
Vibrant and historic Mexican artwork can be found throughout Coa De Jima, from ceiling sconces on the patio to 18th century Spanish paintings on the walls.
