Club Lucky - Chicago
A kitschy Rat Pack aura pervades this Bucktown Italian, with a 1950s-style cocktail lounge and a dining area that offers large portions served family style and "Killer Martinis" with hand-stuffed blue cheese olives. Look for such specialties as handmade pastas; eggplant parmigiana; chicken Vesuvio; calamari; lasagna; spumoni and cheesecake. The sidewalk cafe is a popular spot on summer evenings. The long Chicago Bar, glass block store front and tin ceiling remain from the 1930s, when the building housed the original Club Lucky, a Polish bar and banquet hall.
