The Lincoln Park outpost for Broken English Taco Pub is the third location, and it's strategically in an area of the neighborhood that's prime for such a cool Mexican-inspired concept.
Broken English stands out for its uniqueness, from Instagram-ready walls to tasty taco choices. The owners here have commissioned local artists to create permanent installations throughout the space, giving it the sort of convivial setting that's prime for day drinking.
Taco choices range from pork belly al pastor to fried chicken with smoked cabbage slaw and ghost pepper mayo. Those with larger parties should order the family-style taco trays, which come in a choice of six ($20) or 12 ($38). There are also house-made nachos and guac, street-corn hushpuppies, and generously sized burritos stuffed with chicken, pork belly or black bean puree.
Rosé sangria, margaritas, craft beer and a host of signature cocktails round out the beverage menu.
