Had a great time with my cousins at the drag Brunch! It was laid back, and so much fun! We can't wait to come back! The place is really pretty and the food was delicious 😋

The beer selection is not that great and the staff is consistently rude. They use an app now for ordering and they want to avoid contact with customers. The app is faulty. Our card got charged 4 times for one order. We called to dispute the charges, they were very irritated and told us it was our fault that the card got charged several times. They hung up on us!

Hippo beer is amazing! The food is delicious! And the staff are extremely helpful! This is my favorite place in the city!

We can't here for the Drag Queen Brunch and it was amazing! It was great did and a great show! They even had the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile parked out side!

Twisted Hippo stands where the old Tiptop budget bakery store once was, and my wife worked there in high school, so seeing the place reimagined as a real brewery and dining establishment is pretty great. Lines last outside in warm weather, but for today's fist "tst start" of their Drag Brunch, the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile allowed for plenty of picture-taking before and after the performers finished. Bring singles for the drag hw; bring a tummy ready for some good breakfast sandwiches, french toast and a good menu. Even on a quieter day, Twisted Hippo is a GREAT destination; add Muffy Fishbasket and her performers and it turns fun! Their beers are a solidly great selection! There's even more to open there because the space is mammoth, so expect this to keep evolving with new offerings and plans. (There are a bunch of vintage pinball machines all around the sides; I didn't ask, but HEY NOW!!!) MY second visit; be seated, scan the QR code to order and tip is rolled into the price: super easy. One of the drag performers blew a kiss to a youngster at an adjacent table and the tyke blew a kiss back. That's inclusion, and that's how it's all done right!

Pros – the colors inside a very cheerful, there is ample seating, generally easy to find parking. Old fashions were delicious and the ordering app worked well. I like the payment system (what you see is what you pay, no tip needed). Cons - feels impersonal due to the ordering system. No one came around to explain the menu to us or offer suggestions on the beers. There were also a lot of children in the bar, I get that it's family friendly but it felt a bit like Chuck E. Cheese. Also a hamburger and pork sandwich took almost 40 minutes to come out on a Friday which seems excessive for a night when there wasn't even a wait for a table.

Great spot! The aesthetic is beautiful. The beer is great. The jerk cauliflower is AMAZING! Skeeball lanes by reservation and killer queen are so fun. Could hang out here all day

I come here every Sunday. The owner is fantastic, refreshingly candid and explains everything perfectly. Love the decor and the food. So grateful and glad that Twisted Hippo is still here. This is the place to be if you want a great experience in a friendly, safe environment.

Thank heavens for Templestowe. They're open again. Great staff, interesting locals. Bring in food from nearly Naranja Dulce or Pizza y Pan. (Or anywhere...

What an experience even in the new normal. Very welcoming owner and brewer and to explain the ordering process. The food and the beer pairing was just too good. The beer labels are just a masterpiece to admire. We got the pretzel nuggets and the BYO Tots which was a lot for two people. Tip: take a picture of the beers available from the screen as the online menu may not have descriptions
