I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was surprisingly disappointing. My friends and I were very excited to go here. It is adorable inside, and the cocktails sounded amazing. However, the service was BAD. They do not help you out at all. The server practically ignored us the entire time. Also, we had reservations, that included a welcome cocktail with the reservation. The server said nothing about it, so I asked him if we were able to get it. He informed us that we were supposed to receive complimentary cocktails, but they ran out of the liquor for the cocktail. I asked him if we could get a different drink that had a different liquor. He said no. So….we paid for a cocktail with the reservation. It was part of the deal. And he refused. Kinda felt scammed honestly! The place has potential to be good. I think they seriously need to work on their customer service though. I wouldn’t go back.
The performances are only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We went on a Sunday but still had a lovely early dinner and cocktails. The crispy rice and tuna was out of this world delicious! Service was excellent too. Very friendly and accommodating. Definitely plan to go back during the performance hours sometime!
I really enjoy the decor and ambience of this restaurant. It is definitely conducive to a nice date night. However, the service is mediocre. I feel it partially boiled down to the personalities of the staff - it was as if they didn’t want to be there. Food we ordered was practically thrown onto the table. Dishes were rarely cleared. Attention to detail was also lacking. Paper menus provided appeared to be crushed and flattened repeatedly, they didn’t have silverware, lighting is so poor at each table it’s hard to read the menu - could have been alleviated with a candle.
The ambiance and music were amazing at this place. Loved the couch style seating - perfect for groups to hang, chat and enjoy some food/cocktails as well. I didn't give a 5 star only because I felt the cocktail I got (bees knees) was a little disappointing. All other cocktails I got were amazing and would still go back, as well as recommend to others.
The library is my favorite part of this spot! I love the dark ambiance and the performers! They have a decent menu. We ordered the Vegan Spring Sweet Potato Gnocchi and pizza! The drink Fantastic fox was a bit bitter! The 18% gratuity was automatically charged. Minus a star since It was a bit hard to get the servers attention since every interaction is made through the app in terms of ordering food.
