Atwater's | Herrington Inn & Spa

We loved our stay here, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and elevate our experience. The views were wonderful and the room was a good size and was well kept. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the grounds were all beautiful and well kept! We will absolutely be back!

The hotel, or rather a resort, is beautifully situated on the river itself. The historic building and the beautiful old-style decor give you a feeling of unprecedented comfort. Professional and courteous service, willing to help at any time. In the morning, delicious breakfast and snacks, and of course fresh coffee available for guests. I can recommend this hotel to anyone with full responsibility. It's worth it.

Enjoyed the laid back but very nice atmosphere of the hotel. Amazing location on the river and short walk to tons of shopping and dining options. Only stayed 1 night but 2 would have been perfect.

Our experience yesterday on Mother’s Day was terrible. The staff at the restaurant and bar was rude, grumpy, and disrespectful. We have a tradition of staying at the hotel every year and using the spa and eating at their restaurant. We will no longer be doing this. It was almost unreal the way one of the wait staff engaged with us. The hotel and spa are great! If you stay, I’d recommend you eat downtown rather then support people who clearly are not looking to have customers feel welcome.

A truly wonderful experience from the time Josh welcomed us until the "bonus" dessert of a chocolate dipped strawberry for everyone in our party. We enjoyed the specialty cocktails like the French martini and the raspberry beret. The atwater salad was a perfect start, just the right size and a blend of flavors to start things off. The entrees were very good and the service was excellent.
