Anderson's Candy Shop - Barrington

This place is awesome! I got some gifts here and they have lots of different sized boxes and do everything by weight. Looks delicious and I tasted the ice cream and it was amazing!

Great little hidden candy shop, or at least one of those you drive by and you don't have a chance to stop but you should. If you want good quality chocolate there's nowhere else to go in the area for quality. The English toffee made a real nice, last minute gift. Surprisingly, they are 100-year-old company from Richmond and that says a lot. April 2nd 2022, Got a little gift box of dark chocolate salted caramels and they are fantastic! Perfect size nice presentation and the dark chocolate is excellent the caramel is perfect in the salt is a great touch.

Best dark chocolate everything! Just bought the cream eggs for Easter. Must try! Family owned business, fair prices and great candy!

It's expensive chocolate, but it reminds me if driving up to Wisconsin with my family and the taste is wonderful. They have even more flavors than I remember from a few years back.

You have to stop by..I was looking on-line for a place to find 1953-1960 candy, and called this place. The person said they have some but are more a chocolate place. I went and I got both items...but, If you want awesome chocolate, diabetic Fudge and chocolate every way, go. I'm looking forward to go back before the holidays....If you know a diabetic, get there Fudge. P.S., Yes I spent over $80.00 and will do again... Stop by, walking in (you will be greeted) grab a basket in Joy yourself..
