Americano 2211 - Chicago
Americano 2211 is a 1,200 square foot European inspired restaurant and evening cafe forged by longtime industry friends and newly paired business partners Nancy Silver (Blackbird, Firefly, Charlie Trotter’s) and Chris Pappas (The Winchester, Sepia, Mia Francesca, Soul Kitchen, Red Light, Old Town Social). Located in the heart of Wicker Park at 2211 W North Avenue, Americano 2211 will open its periwinkle doors in early April 2016. The space will present an inviting communal scene that honors authentic European street cafés, seating 45, with additional patio seating during the summer. Executive Chef Fred Noinaj brings an array of experience to Americano 2211 (avec, Analogue, Austin’s The Hey-Ha Truck), offering a range of shared dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The all day menu will provide a Mediterranean slant on ingredient driven fare, including shared small plates, sweet and savory hand made pastries, an extensive coffee and tea selection, with plans for an evening bar and wine/aperitif program.
