Today I attended the Pastry School Experience and it was amazing!! I never knew this existed in Chicago! When we arrived we have a tour of the Pastry School by 2 current students. It was fun to talk to them about their experiences at the school and they had nothing but positive things to say. Then we entered the demonstration room where they served us fresh baked croissants and coffee. Then Chef Patrice Caillot, an World Pastry Champion, started his 2 and a half hour demonstration. Which we got to taste each one! We had honey and lemon Madeleine's, ganache bonbons, blueberry meringue tarts and more! It was so yummy! I highly recommend checking it out!
