This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Wrigleyville in the early 2000's. I hadn't eaten there for about 6 years and I ordered delivery hoping to get my favorite app, the octopus salad. I was told that they have dropped sushi (as well as the octopus salad) from the menu "about a year ago" but they "haven't gotten around to changing the menu."...Uh, oh. The woman who took my order over the phone could not have been more nice, upbeat and seemingly eager to get my order right. I give her 5 stars. I THINK that I ordered brown rice with the curry, but I could be wrong, and of course I got white rice. I also got edamame and the crab Rangoon, which they call something else...which they should because there was no evidence of actual crab in the gooey cream cheese. OK, that's fine. It's hard to screw up crab rangoon and this was as average as average could be. You can't really screw up edamame, it was edamame. BUT, the curry was abysmal. I got the "3 Ingredient" curry with double shrimp plus chicken. The shrimp has to be delivered to the restaurant in bulk, frozen and fully processed. The chicken too and the curry sauce was the worst curry I've ever had. They sent some chili oil on the side in case I needed it to be spicier, which I did despite the dish being listed as "spicy". The dish tasted like a cross between Nursing Home Cafeteria and a dish you'd get in the cantina of one of those massive hotel complexes down at Disney in Florida. It makes me sad to see a restaurant that I once loved fall so low, I wonder if they are going to get swallowed up in the rest of the reconstruction of Wrigleyville. That's probably for the best.
