CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE AT CHICAGO’S BEST RESTAURANTS
Restaurants do big business on the last night of the year. Fortunately for us, many of Chicago’s best restaurants are doing special dinners on New Year’s Eve, and here are ten of them.

LondonHouse
LondonHouse is open on NYE from 8:30pm to 2am, with a DJ, dancing and dining on the 21st floor, as well as a 4-hour premium bar and passed hors d’oeuvres ($200-$2,100/person).
Lyra rings in the New Year with a stupendous 3-course tasting menu and live DJ ($125/person).
Lure Fishbar opens on December 31 to serve up what we want on NYE: an opulent raw bar, luxurious surf and turf, and fabulous desserts.
Bandit promises a wild night with the opportunity to “relive the magic of prom night” with live entertainment.
Costera Cocina Tulum
Costera Cocina Tulum gives 2023 a raucous Mexican send-off with a 4-course prix fixe menu, featuring Peruvian ceviche, pork shank pibil, and salmon a la Veracruzana ($100/person).
The Dawson ends the year on a tasty note with a 3-course tasting menu featuring raclette fondue, Rohan duck breast and halibut cioppino ($105/person).
Coda di Volpe does NYE Italian style, with four amazing courses, including chestnut gnocchi, 45-day dry-aged bisteca, and lobster Campanelle ($115/person).
Indienne
Indienne, perhaps the finest Indian restaurant in Chicago, offers early seatings (5pm – 7:30pm) for a 5-course tasting menu…and if you wait until midnight, a Champagne toast ($190/person)
Eataly, the Italian superstore, kick-starts NYE on the afternoon of 12/31 with a ticketed tasting of Italian regional wines, house-made pasta, and panettone.
The Evie on Boul Mich has a few specials for the moments before 2023 becomes 2024, including lump crab with lobster bisque and Osetra caviar.
