This was the first time I had ever visited the restaurant. All I can say about this place was WOW!!! As soon as I walked in someone greeted me and was seating me right away. Our server was very polite and patient with us since it was our first time being there. She answered all our question we had about their food and really down to earth! The food came out hot and delicious! I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to bring my family up there to try it.
Ashford House is a great local family owned restaurant serving home cooked Irish Dishes. It has a great old world atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and courteous. They have some great traditional Irish Dishes such as Corned beef and Cabbage and Fish and Chips, but also offer Steaks and Burgers. Everything is made from scratch and is always good. They have a great selection of Irish beers too. Prices are reasonable, and they have daily specials. Recommend the corned beef or Reuben and the Fish and Chips. The Chicken Parmesan is really good and a large portion. Recommend you give them a try if you want something different.
Gaelic breakfast was excellent as always. Give my regards to Tara; she madr it great
I love the food here! They always need more servers though and don't have enough staff. If you don't mind being patient because their trying their hardest...
Planned a memorial out of state for my mother. Many places in that area are closed on Mondays. Ultimately picked per a recommendation and pricing. Facilities are nice and clean, Dawn our 1 server for 30 plus people was pleasant and kind. Food was not good. Salad over dressed, chicken was dry like way dry... beef is a small slice from Winston's deli wise... 5 slices with gravy on them by the time they hit the table COLD. Please do not pick this place for an event that you want lasting memories. Websites pricing isn't up to date, hopefully is now. Owner isn't pleasant with feedback but did honor pricing per website.
