Situated in The Rodeo Collection shopping mall in the affluent Beverly Hills neighborhood, The Hideaway is a vibrant, Mexican-inspired restaurant. In addition to re-imagined coastal Baja dishes, you'll find a host of seafood and steak entrees on the menu.
The restaurant is hidden away on the bottom level of the mall, and at once it offers a vintage vibe with a deliberate "worn" look. Wrought iron chairs, handmade pottery that looks like it came straight out of Mexico, and booths tucked around in various rooms set the scene.
Starters like crudite, crispy cauliflower, and guacamole are recommended for sharing, while the lobster tortilla soup is a fresh take on a classic. For steak, guest may choose from a 6-ounce filet, 10-ounce wagyu or 32-ounce tomahawk to share with the table. Non-steak offerings are also plentiful at The Hideaway. That includes grilled swordfish, duck carnitas and wild king salmon with mango-papaya relish.
The cocktail menu is filled with fun Mexican favorites, including a classic Paloma, margarita and the Poblano Escobar of mezcal, agave and pineapple.
